Sourcing quality one brand at a time

Mariage Frères

Founded on June 1, 1854, by Henri and Edouard Mariage, Mariage Frères has become an iconic Parisian brand with a rich history in French tea preparation. The brothers descend from a long line of tea traders, going back to the French East India Company under the direction of Louis XIV. From its early stages, the Mariage Frères established its international reputation, doing business with trading posts in China and Ceylon.

Mariage Frères Tea Company operates through a network of selected resellers in over 60 countries and its premium leaf teas from the Orient are being served in grand hotels such as the Meurice in Paris, Claridge’s in London, Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok and Singapore as well as being offered to the first-class voyagers on Japan Airlines.

In addition to teas, the company designs and sells teapots and other tea accessories, as well as specialty items, such as sablés (shortbreads) and Chocolats des Mandarins, created from ancient family recipes. They provide Organic, Green, white and Black Tea.

We import Mariage Frères tea and merchandise to the Netherlands since 2014 and quickly became the tea supplier of many high-end hotels, restaurants, and tea-rooms. We work in a niche market favoring quality over volume. Our mission is to promote premium quality haute couture tea prepared with magic and history by the legendary Parisian tea connoisseur Mariage Frères.  If you are interested in serving Mariage Frères tea at your venue, please feel free to contact us.

For retail inquiries, our Mariage Frères collection is available in our Amsterdam warehouse and through our online store, we ship free of charge within the Netherlands.

"We have always had a special relationship with our planters because we share the same passion for tea and, like them, we want to obtain the best product that every tea garden can offer…
