Gio Ranch is a western style horseback riding farm within the magnificent estate of House of Gio, located close to the seaside village of Castiglione della Pescaia, in southern Tuscany.
Our extremely well trained horses and the glorious scenery of one of the most scenic and unspoiled valleys of Maremma, will offer an authentic western ranch experience designed to accommodate a wide range of riding enthusiasts of various skill levels.

Dear all, I am the latest member of this gorgeous team. I was born in 2020 in Maremma and I am a beautiful Haflinger. I wish I had Ambra’s curls but I have much longer legs so I guess I am sexier and I do not have that demanding Barbie attitude of hers.
I am a stunning Murgese from Puglia with a long line of pedigree ancestors. Oh yes, these are not pistols, these are my legs! I might look quite intimidating by towering above all the other team members but I am probably the most docile of them all. I was born in 2019 and I am an ex-vaulting star from Piacenza.
I am an Appaloosa with a super soft gait. I was born in 2009 and I recently joined the team from the Polo Club in Punta Ala. I like to lead so I prefer to be up from of the herd and kind of compete with California.
We offer handcrafted and mostly “made in Italy” high quality horse track and equipment to ensure safety, comfort and wellbeing of both our horses and our customers. All our saddles are produced made-to-measure by Le Selle Italiane, combining the ancient art of leathercraft with the passion and the innovation of a modern Italian-Style Lab.
